Go NOLA Team Prime Reunion

Yesterday was a great great day. My Go NOLA team had a reunion cookout at our leader Dave's house. Only one member was unable to make it. Oh how we missed you Tom (and Kelly and happy birthday to Anna!). There were spouses and kids and it all felt as close and comfortable as it was in New Orleans. Later that night I thought about what a gift that is - that the magic of how great we got along was not a figment of my imagination or a product of the environment of being in New Orleans. It's a resounding and enduring love for one another and it was big enough to include all our families.

Our leader Dave has been having some serious bronchial issues since coming back from the trip and we prayed for him while we were there. If you would include a resolution to his serious cough in your prayers, I would really appreciate it. He is going to see the doctor - again - and we need answers and we need him to heal.

After the cookout we took the twins to Build a Bear Workshop and they made their first stuffed animals. We are the proud new owners of a splendid pink unicorn named "Joy" and a soft sweet puppy dog named "Spiderman". It was a blast.

It's time to run to church but I will post pictures later today. Much love from our family to yours.
